Description:
Nova Literary-Arts Magazine is a student led publication at UNC Charlotte, where I worked on a team as a graphic designer. The magazine Collects both art and literary works across Charlotte, and publishes each year. As a team we created the overall plan, and layout of the magazine. This year's publication channeled the force behind why people create, influenced by Plato's idea of a soul. We worked within a budget, and continued to put effort into finding a balance between an attractive reading experience, and not taking attention away from the artists who submitted. The final product was 4 different books within the single cover, with over 1500 copies being printed and distributed on campus.

Layout
The magazine was divided into 4 sections, 3 of which represented Plato's idea of what compromises a soul: spiritual, rational, appetitive, and a 4th which held the credits of those who worked on the magazine.
